In the contemporary painting circles in China, Professor Shi Quanxing's Landscpae paintings have been noted for their unique combination of the elegant and delicate texture pf china's Southern school of paintings and the unconstrained and grand feature of the Northern school of paintings. His paintings also combine both western fine art and traditional Chinese drawing techniques, resulting in an integrated artistic form. He has succeeded in combining the marvelous aspects of nature with the painter's sense of perception and modern conceptualization. With this, he has successfully produced mountain and water color paintings with a unique and distinctive artistic style that complements nature's comprehensive sense.

        Professor Shi's paintings have won many prizes in exhibition held across China . His paintings have been included in more than 50 volumes of painting collection of contemporary Chinese artists, and widely collected by art galleries and large corporations. He has also been invited as a visiting professor to teach painting and give lectures on fine arts in many art schools and institutes.

        Professor Shi was born in Sheqiu , Henan Province, in 1954. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Henan University. Now he serves as president of the Yellow River Academy of Calligraphy and Paintings. In addition, he is a member of the Beijing Branch of Chines Artist's Association and director of the Publishing Department of the China Jinsihou (Snub-Nosed Monkey) Group. He has been invited to exhibit his paintings in Hong Kong , Singapore , Malaysia , Thailand , Japan , Korea , the United States , Australia and France .
